    I cannot see how it’s different from Primula veris. Do tell!

      🙂 It’s Primula veris *really*—I’d be shouting louder about it if I’d found a new species—but I like the idea of a new species that only ever grows flowers and a stem in this shape:

        Ahhh, I get it now. Very clever. I like the Harry Potter connection. I was thinking that Quincunx reminded me of Horcrux, but hadn’t realised it was on the floor in Gringotts.

        Yeah, that was an odd connection. I wonder how much John Dee-like symbolism is hidden in the films (in contrast, the books tend to sometimes labour it a bit!)
